I???m going, to be honest here, sometimes I go through my prompts and I have no idea what is what because my default memory bank doesn???t include certain information.
This is one of them.
So whenever I???m stuck during the brainstorming process I always turn to Google for a simple definition.
Visionary: thinking about or planning the future with imagination or wisdom
I could have gone the simple route and do a portrait but I wanted the visionary aspect more apparent. At the time during the creation process, I was hooked on the imagery of a portrait of a person wearing glasses, where a majority of the image would be black and white, but within the glasses, there would be something more colourful.
A beauty that only one person can see.
Thankfully I was able to tie it into the prompt quite nicely. The faces of these feminine figures are quite stoic or rather thoughtful and they face towards the audience to make it appear they’re looking directly at you. However, with the added details in the glasses, they are in their own mental space thinking about their day, their future or daydreaming. They are present, but they are currently seeing the world a little more different than the rest.

The materials used here are from the Art Snacks once again, this time it’s their June box. This box materials are mainly in the form of a pen/marker-like tool, and I usually use those materials for line art or detailed work, I don’t usually use them for the entire piece. It was an interesting experience, but it has definitely highlighted that I should practise with markers more often, they’re surprisingly versatile.
