Character design is always a fun thing to do on my downtime. I???ve also have been into mushrooms a lot lately, mainly just drawing them out. The more I look at them the prettier they get, though I still have no idea how to tell which ones are poisonous or not, so this hobby will remain at a distance.??
But the shapes and colours of the mushrooms I looked at while brainstorming brought this character to life! If I had to give this character a backstory and personality they would have a very dainty and feminine type of behaviour, always wanting to remain clean and look effortlessly pretty. They love to dress up in frilly clothing aiming to stick out but make it look like it doesn???t matter to them, making others believe that their beauty is natural. Their voice would be soft-spoken and soothing with a clean set of vocabulary. You???re regular mushroom type of princess if you will. But they???re not royal, more so upper-class if anything. This image here captures them when a younger age when the worries are less and the world doesn???t feel like it???s against you yet. They would probably have a career in modelling which they would achieve in a natural progression from posing for pictures for friend???s projects and slowly getting discovered from gig to gig, but it would never blow up. They would end up living a comfortable lifestyle though, money would never be an issue.??
As fun as character creation can be drawing out the character was pretty tough. I didn???t want to follow what already existed, and I didn???t want them to look too human. I mean this character is already threading very closely to that line but it???s magical enough!??
It would be more fun to do more character creatures in the future, but alas I must finish this prompt project.
