This one was a fun one to do.
For some reason, the idea of being able to do cereal imagery was exciting for me.
When I thought of a ???Saturday Cartoon Party??? all I could think of was retro imagery and colours from the time when I was a child in the 90s. A wave of nostalgia washed over me while I was doing this one. I remember the times when I would still be in my pyjamas with my bed hair all wild watching cartoons as I waited for my mom to make us our special weekend breakfast. Such sweet memories.
Though this poster doesn???t capture that type of feeling this time around it definitely captures the 90s feeling through the colour combination and retro television. A simple yet a classic kind of look. And to top off the childhood feeling, I also scattered the cereal pieces about to give off more of those child-like mannerisms. At that age, all you were concerned about was getting that cereal in your belly and catching up on your latest shows, there was no time to consider the mess you made. Well at least until your mom nagged at you clean up after yourself.
