2019 Update

So many ideas are trying to come out of the pages of my sketchbook faster than I can manage but despite all that, I have never been so excited to grow and push myself creatively.

A little late for those start of the year blog update, but it is what it is.

2018 has been a year, I don’t know what kind of year but it has definitely been a year. If anything I feel as if I have really grown mentally and personality wise. It was during last year I decided to put my self-doubt on the back-burner and be more confident with myself, and my god that has transformed so much with how I view life in general. Nothing groundbreaking has occurred illustration or graphic design wise, but I feel I really needed that year to grow as a person to prepare whatever 2019 has to come my way.

And my goodness we’re off to an overwhelming start, but it’s the good kind of overwhelming so that’s okay. I’ve decided to double down on graphic design and commit myself to build my career and branching out my network. If I want this to take off the ground I better put the work in. I have also decided I need to commit myself again to this blog, I have definitely been a lot more active compared to the year before last year, but it’s not exactly where I want it to be just yet. So plans for content is coming your way hot and heavy.

I also plan to finish that prompt illustration project I’ve been working on because that finally needs to conclude.

There are also some new project ideas in the making, and I have gotten a lot better at project management and breaking plans into more manageable tasks so by the end of the year we may even get to see the debut of one or two of these projects!! Everything is tight-lipped for now, mainly because I’m still working out the planning for most of these things and the other reason being I don’t want to make promises I can’t keep. Who knows what life will throw at me. But they will be revealed as they come!

But for the most part, I am excited for 2019, I’m going to commit, give it my all, and make the most of what life is going to throw my way.
